Summer of Lust
I have zero regrets quitting my day job. I’m FINALLY working exclusively with AMA Modeling and we got ALL the things going on. After my debut in the adult film industry, things are ramping up.
Focusing on the book series was damn near impossible with my schedule. If I wanted it to succeed I had to figure out a more efficient way to earn income. People think I can just time travel and produce books like nothing…. Um… Books take time. Writing the damn things can take me anywhere from 2 weeks to 5 years as with my first book. I don’t have a set in stone process, I just write and predictably loathe the other parts of the process. I hate outlining, proofreading, editing, formatting, coding, recording and business admin.
I’m an author because I LOVE writing. It’s not arduous for me to balance writing with a day job. The challenge for me is balancing all of the other important tasks that need to get done for a book to be published. I told everyone from my first book on, everything EVERYTHING I do, is for Arie. Being more involved in the industry gives me more opportunities to promote DC. Anyway the great news is book 3, Disorderly Conduct: Mission Edition has gotten thorough reviews from beta readers so I can finally work on editing. Cover design got delayed because I was so burnt out from trying to both make content AND work a day job full time. For the thousandth time, this is why I quit.
Let’s talk about Exxxotica! This past weekend the convention was hosted at the Miami Airport Convention Center. The building was HUGE and there were a variety of different booths. Performers wowed audiences on the main stage while patrons perused over sex gadgets and gizmos. There was even a fully stocked dungeon which included X-crosses, rigging stations and flogging tables. Overall the experience was worth it and it was certainly a WILD atmosphere. Actresses, dancers, and models roamed around freely, showing off their bodies. It was a glorious environment to strut around in my newest skimpy outfit and I felt right at home. Both stars and amateurs mingled among the lusty crowd as the DJ blasted EDM. Mmm, what a weekend. The one qualm I had was that pasties were required. SMH, because nipples.
The amount of performers and creators was impressive. I was thrilled to meet my favorite adult actress, Madison Morgan at her booth. She gave me some MUCH needed tips and was such a lovely energy to be around. My AMA people were there which relieved me of my social anxiety. Although I can stand alone confidently, I prefer having social anchors at gigantic events like this. The sexiest highlight to attending was undoubtedly seeing my current industry crush/fixation, Johnny Stone. The man turns me on every time he posts. Oh and it was crazy having people recognize me. I had two adult actors approach me who followed me on twitter and even a fan! My only complaint about the event itself is that the marketing and promo service/product groups were pushy AF. I got interrupted TWICE while networking. I will be attending again next year for the debauchery.
Let’s talk about sex baby 😈! I diversified my pages so I’m not just reposting and content on each of my platforms differs. My playboy has my polished, vintage content, my OF houses my racier content (new collabs coming soon), my Redgifs page is for my naughty shorts, and my new Pornhub page is my hardcore kink page. I’ve already got another gig coming up. My next professional shoot is this Friday and I am so stoked. It’s local which I’m more than ok with. I’ve been out of state 6 times already this year and twice out of the country, so this old girl needs a minute. I don’t know who my set partner will be. However after watching the producers’ work numerous times, I’m confident whoever they pair me with will be fantastic. I won’t give away any real deets but it IS an exhibitionist scene. For many of those who’ve followed me for a long time, yes this absolutely gets my jollies off and I’m READY. lol
I will be going to Fantasy Fest again this year to do TWO book signings this time, but am waiting to release details on that. Last year was a blast but I want to stay more days and take in the festivities… and maybe some dick with my friends. Bare Necessities should be putting out their marketing materials soon so you will see my little booty on the cover of their brochure and their website. I hope they invite me back, because working with them this year was incredible. Some of the other models and I are actually reuniting at Fantasy Fest - let’s GOO!! I’m a happy camper. I’ve been trying to become a full time content creator/author for YEARS. It’s so validating and in some peculiar ways, vindicating to see everything culminate into my big picture.
