What Adult Themes Does the Disorderly Conduct Series Touch on?

When writing the first book of Disorderly Conduct, I wanted to make sure that it made my readers laugh while getting them turned on. In my personal experience, the more laid back you are about sex, the more enjoyable it is. We all have hang ups, insecurities, preferences and turn-offs. It’s healthy to have boundaries, but one should also feel open to explore within their intimate life. When we’re young, we tend to experiment in order to find our intimate likes and dislikes. Arie’s story is a reflection of the ups and downs that accompany this phase most of us experience at her age.

Disorderly Conduct: College Edition includes the following adult themes:

  • Cannabis and Tobacco use

  • Drinking and partying

  • Sugar Dating

  • LGBT themes - specifically pansexuality

  • Pet Play

  • Orgies (MMFMM) and Threesomes (MFM)

  • Open Relationships and Swinging

I am still occasionally met with confusion when I tell new friends or beta readers that I am pansexual. Part of my drive to write this series was to break stereotypes of what identifying as queer or pansexual meant. My protagonist is a strong representative of what it means to me to be a pansexual minority woman. Although she can admire a variety of body types and appreciate individual body parts, she is not limited by gender in terms of who she is attracted to. Unlike those who identify as bisexual, those who identify as pansexual tend to be attracted to their love interests regardless of their genitals, not because of them.
